Saint John 1:1 – “In the beginning was the Word…”

Ah words, don’t you just love ‘em? I’ve watched the meanings of words be changed, bastardized and twisted into some sort of babble that only creates confusion and loopholes for the deceitful. Talk about the Tower of Babel!!! With slang, texting, buzz phrases and the acceptance of the meaning of words through their misusage, is it any wonder that most conversations are folks making sounds that have obscure and confusing conclusions? Words have meanings and life, when we use them we’d better know what they mean and not be caught in the snare of having to say, “That’s not what I meant!” or “You didn’t understand what I said!” USE THE CORRECT WORDS! The majority of thinking people concur that politicians, in concert, are liars, thieves and a morally defunct band of exploiters. Yet, there are those who insist we use politically correct language! “Go fly a kite”, I say! Say what you mean and mean what you say, that’s the ticket!
